Quality standards exist to help taking better decisions for health problems and treatment protocols and therefore improving healthcare systems

To ensure quality health care, several standards are applied. In addition to the various international standards, there are countries standards, procedures and therefore national quality systems specific to the different local healthcare systems & quality standards adapted to the contexts of the countries.
- Quality of care and equity in health services
- Quality frameworks for infrastructure, services, higher education, agencies & institutions

Quality standards exist to help taking better decisions for health problems and treatment protocols and therefore improving healthcare systems

For the sustainability of quality of care, it is necessary to transform the systems put in place into a culture adopted and understood by health professionals and patients

Need to approach eHealth from a health perspective not a technology perspective of A successful Digital Health Ecosystem is based on clear priorities for healthcare transformation
- Need guidance on health policy priorities to guide digital health
- Digital Health is a key enabler for meeting African goals and ambitions

Importance to have a clear strategy and vision communicated to all stakeholders o Agreement on an operational digital health strategy :
- Need to be focused & aligned with the healthcare priorities
- The need for the monitoring, the evaluation of the outcomes and the results achieved to guide further progress.
• Learn daily what can be improved in healthcare systems
• Try to incorporate a systemic approach
